The Beaton Path

Thank You 2013. 2014 Here we come!

2013 was a year of growth and focus for On The Beaton Path. We began our expansion plan in earnest, growing with quality people and geographies; we also launched a subsidiary brand at the end of year. OTBP also reorganized our team to match customer demand.

With many of our projects singularly focused on marketing, we looked inward, and added a full time professional. Paul Morrell had been with OTBP as an intern, and proved himself capable at each step of the way. He assumed much of the client-related work, and allowed me to focus on the growth of the company. We restructured several of the part-time positions to mirror the marketing focus, and these two moves helped OTBP grow steadily throughout the year. We have all grown smarter and stronger together, as we compliment one another in personality as well as skill sets.

OTBP launched v2.0 in April; a dynamic site that showcases our team and our expertise. In June, OTBP launched a mobile version of our site, enabling the greatest features that your smartphone offers.

Once we were convinced that our team, website, and initial territory foundations were stable, we set out and established ourselves in 4 new Chicagoland territories. We conducted market analyses, and consulted with resources who provided critical information on which territories should be considered, shelved, or disregarded altogether. We are extremely excited to be a part of these communities.

And finally, we unveiled a subsidiary brand, Your Daily Coffee Shot ( Coffee has always been a large part of my life, personally and professionally. Many of you know that the blog is not new, but several years old. Our intention was to build up content prior to making this announcement. This new subsidiary and brand will allow On The Beaton Path to tap into new markets and we look forward to that challenge.

And in 2014, the expansion will continue. We will grow per our plan each of the next several years, adding the correct people, territories, and technology that fit our culture. We look forward to continually proving ourselves to our current and future clients by delivering a high level of service and results that cannot be overlooked.
